Hello, I am a little perplexed that I can't email out of quickbooks. Yesterday I tried and it kept sending me a message that I cancelled communication . Now today it is the same . I have never had this happened. I have 2009 Pro. Now I did have someone hack into my email that I use with quickbooks and att disabled my access for my protection. Then I had to get a new password..I don't know if that created a problem with qb. I hope you can help me. I can't get an answer. Thnx, Lois— lois53
Hi sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. When you go to send the e-mail does QuickBooks prompt you for the password? For that matter do you remember ever updating the e-mail PW in QB after you changed it? That could be the issue.
Meanwhile go to Edit -> Preferences and then choose “Send Forms” in the left hand margin. Stay in the “My Preferences” Tab and check your settings there. It may simply be a matter of removing the e-mail that you are using altogether and setting it up all over again.

Training people has to be by far my favorite thing to do. There is no better feeling then knowing you have truly helped someone in a way that will really make a difference in their lives. This may just be one of my best ideas yet. I’ve shown it to a few of my colleagues and they are blown away by the idea. I’m also excited to have 2 and I am about to approach a 3rd QuickBooks Pro Advisor to help me with trainings so I don’t have to take them all, especially as I get busier and busier!
